How pickup works along the coast

Tell us where to start and where to finish when you request a quote: the boat leaves Cannes, collects you, and drops you at the same place or at another harbor when the trip ends.

Harbors, hotel pontoons and yachts

Small village ports work as well as large marinas, and so does a hotel pontoon or a yacht at anchor. The harbors named on our pages are examples: berths are never guaranteed, and your quote confirms where and when you board.

From Porquerolles to Menton, not into Italy

The service area runs from Porquerolles, in the Hyères Islands, to Menton, the last French town before the border. The boat does not drop passengers in Italy.

Pickup areas, from west to east

Each area page lists its harbors, its times by sea and trip ideas from there.

West: Porquerolles, Saint-Tropez and the Esterel

Porquerolles lies in the heart of Port-Cros National Park, with its own rules at sea. Closer in, the boat crosses to Saint-Tropez from Cannes for a beach, a lunch or a one-way drop, and meets you in Saint-Raphaël, Agay or Fréjus for a private boat tour along the Estérel.

Around Cannes: Mandelieu, the Lérins Islands and Antibes

West of the Old Port, Mandelieu-la-Napoule and Théoule-sur-Mer lie where the red rocks of the Estérel begin. Just off the Croisette, the Lérins Islands are a few minutes away, and to the east, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Golfe-Juan lie around Cap d'Antibes. From Cannes itself, see a day with skipper.

East: Nice airport, Nice, Monaco and Menton

Flying in, you board at the Saint-Laurent-du-Var pontoon for a private transfer from Nice airport by sea. Beyond it come Nice, Villefranche and Cap Ferrat, then the Principality of Monaco and Menton, with its Old Port and Garavan harbor.

How long by boat along the French Riviera?

Times from the Old Port of Cannes, the boat's home port, at its 30-knot cruising speed.

Questions

How do you get around the French Riviera by boat?

Harbor to harbor, with no A8 traffic: a private boat with skipper collects your group, up to 8 guests, wherever you are staying between Porquerolles and Menton, and drops you where the day ends.

Can we see Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco by boat?

Yes, over one or several trips. From Cannes, Monaco is about 50 minutes and Saint-Tropez about an hour by sea, depending on sea conditions; your quote sets the route and the stops.

Can we go from the French Riviera to Italy by boat?

Not with Navima Riviera: the boat picks up and drops off only in France and Monaco, as far east as Menton.

How many days in the French Riviera is enough?

It depends on what you want to see. By sea, a half day covers the Lérins Islands and a full day Saint-Tropez or Monaco, so a few days leave time for several towns without changing hotels.
